Advanced Breast Care System grew out of the development of a new type of breast biopsy system pioneered by Biopsys Inc. That software was originally designed to assess the effectiveness of the new system.

The system was designed to track progress of breast cancer from initial biopsy to final treatment.

In addition to the initial information about the patient, the progress of treatment is tracked in a series of linked lists.
